See: 3,6,17-androstenetrione.
A naturally-occurring androgen metabolite that functions as an aromatase inhibitor. Taken in supplemental form, 3,6,17-androstenetrione can increase serum testosterone by reducing its conversion to estrogen. It’s been used as a part of post-cycle therapy to help restore normal testosterone levels, as well as a standalone supplement for enhancing testosterone.
3,6,17-androstenetrione is sold commercially as “6-OXO” by ErgoPharm. Other synonyms include: 4-etioallocholen-3,6, 17-trione, 6-ketoandrostenedione and androst-4-ene-3,6,17-trione
IUPAC name for Quercetin.
May also be written as 2-(3,4-Dihydroxyphenyl)-3,5,7-trihydroxy-4H-1-benzopyran-4-one
A metabolite of yohimbine also used in fat loss supplements, as it has a longer half-life (6 – 8 hours vs. 1 – 2 hours) than yohimbine itself.
A bioactive compound in “Stinging Nettle” (Urtica dioica) used in certain bodybuilding/testosterone-boosting supplements. In-vitro research has shown it can bind tightly to sex hormone binding globulin (SHBG), so theoretically, it has the potential to increase bioavailable (free) testosterone. There are no human—or even animal—studies, however, so at this point, the ability of oral -(-)3, 4-Divanillyltetrahydrofuran to enhance free testosterone is purely speculative.
